Frequently Asked Questions
What drawing program do you use?
I use Adobe Photoshop for all of my drawing and painting. It mimics pencils, pens, markers, erasers, thick acrylic, ink brush, soft pastel watercolours and any other custom brush patterns you can make.
What drawing tablet do you use?
I use the Wacom Cintiq 22HD touchscreen. It has a pressure and tilt sensitive pen which provides natural, on-screen creative control and captures every movement with the accuracy and precision of traditional art tools.
Do you accept general Commissions?
Yes. Depending on what you want, I’m open to all types of commissions.
Do you accept book cover or page illustrations, and any other commercial work?
Yes. If you are a publisher or independent creator seeking illustrations then don’t hesitate to contact me for your project. These can be created by purchasing rights to the image(s) you will need and its a good idea to research this before you make a request. See art licensing information.
Do you do free art requests or trades?
I don’t currently have time to do requests and will sometimes make exceptions for art trades.
Do you accept charity or free work?
Most of the time yes. If you are an independent wildlife rescue and you need a logo design or art to help raise funds, feel free to contact me.
Can you guide or tutor me?
Yes, it’s normally paid by the hour. I can help with picking up the basics of learning how to draw, whether it’s anatomy, where to start, design, concept etc. I can also do critique or help on work your creating if you are struggling. See tutoring and mentoring prices here.
